SALARY: $47,550 - ASSOCIATE/BACHELOR'S DEGREE
$51,250 - MASTER'S DEGREE
$55,800 - DOCTORATE DEGREE
New faculty may receive up to a 20% increase above the minimum base salary to recognize direct, job-related college teaching or other professional experience and/or extenuating labor market conditions, if requested by the recommending administrator and verified by Human Resources as justified.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
At a minimum, the selected candidate must have the following:

• Associate degree in automotive related discipline
• ASE certification
• 3 years relevant and recent experience in:
• Internal combustion engines (ICE) and alternative powertrains
• Transmissions and transaxles (manual and automatic)
• Automotive electronics and embedded systems
• Key Systems: Air Conditioning, Brake, Cooling, Electrical, Steering, Suspension

OR

• Bachelor's degree
• ASE Certification
• 7 years relevant and recent experience in:
• Internal combustion engines (ICE) and alternative powertrains
• Transmissions and transaxles (manual and automatic)
• Automotive electronics and embedded systems
• Key Systems: Air Conditioning, Brake, Cooling, Electrical, Steering, Suspension

Additionally, the preferred candidate will have the following:

• Bachelor's degree (in automotive related discipline)
• ASE certification

OR

• Any bachelor's degree or Associate degree in automotive related discipline
• ASE certification

Related Disciplines: Education, Technology, Engineering, or relevant science/STEM
Other desirable experience:

• ADAS
• Electric and hybrid vehicles
• Autonomous driving systems
• Automotive Technology Teaching
