Job Summary:
Jenkins Collision Center of Ocala is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Painter Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our Auto Painters in preparing and painting vehicles to our high standards of quality. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry, located in Ocala, Florida. Pay is based on experience.

    Responsibilities:
  • A
    • ssist Auto Painters in all aspects of vehicle painting process, including sanding, priming, and final coating
  • P
    • repare vehicles for painting by cleaning, masking, and taping off areas that do not require paint
  • M
    • ix and match paint colors according to specifications
  • A
    • pply paint to vehicles using various techniques, such as sprayers, brushes, and rollers
  • A
    • ssure that painted vehicles are of high quality and free of imperfections

    • lean and maintain painting equipment and tools
  • F
    • ollow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

    • ommunicate and work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

    • ssist with other duties as needed by the team
    Requirements:

    • igh school diploma or equivalent

    • revious experience in auto painting is a plus, but not required

    • amiliarity with painting tools and equipment

    • bility to mix and match paint colors

    • xcellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work

    • bility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

    • illingness to learn and take direction from more experienced team members

    • hysical ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods

    • ust have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
