The Recon Buff and Brush Tech at Ozark Chevrolet is responsible for restoring the appearance of vehicles through detailing and buffing techniques. This is a full time, hourly position in the auto industry located in the beautiful city of Ozark, Missouri. As an individual contributor, you will work closely with our Body Shop team to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for automotive care.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly rate, paid semimonthly. In addition, our employees have access to a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and potential for advancement within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle detailing and buffing tasks to restore the appearance of new and used vehicles
- Utilize various tools and techniques to remove scratches, buff out imperfections, and apply necessary protective coatings
- Inspect and ensure quality of work to meet dealership standards and customer expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns
- Consistently adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in automotive detailing and buffing a plus

- Basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand and power tools
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
