About Dachman Audio

Dachman Audio is a growing professional audio company specializing in modern reproductions of classic vintage studio microphones. Our products are used by musicians, recording engineers, producers, and studios around the world.

We are looking for a dependable, conscientious Part-Time Operations & Fulfillment Assistant to help manage the day-to-day physical operations at our Dover, NJ facility. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in being accurate, organized, careful, and consistently reliable. Extensive warehouse experience is not required—we care most about dependability, attention to detail, and a willingness to follow clear procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack incoming product shipments

• Count inventory and verify quantities

• Inspect microphones, accessories, packaging, and other products using established checklists

• Identify and document cosmetic defects, missing accessories, and other issues

• Photograph and organize defective or questionable products

• Separate inventory into approved, defective, repair, return, and inspection areas

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment

• Prepare warranty replacements and other outgoing shipments

• Print shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup

• Receive UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other deliveries

• Stock and organize shipping materials and supplies

• Maintain accurate physical inventory and perform occasional inventory counts

• Keep shelving, workbenches, inventory areas, and the overall facility organized

• Break down boxes and dispose of packing materials

• Assist with other light operational tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Extremely reliable and punctual

• Organized and detail-oriented

• Careful when handling valuable products

• Comfortable following written procedures and checklists

• Able to recognize when something looks incorrect or unusual

• Comfortable working independently

• Comfortable using a computer and learning basic shipping and inventory software

• Able to communicate clearly when something does not match expectations

Previous experience in shipping, receiving, fulfillment, inventory, manufacturing, electronics, quality control, or warehouse operations is helpful but not required. No professional audio or microphone experience is required.

Schedule and Compensation

• Part-time, W-2 employee

• Approximately 20–25 hours per week

• Ideally spread across several weekdays during normal daytime hours, approximately 4–5 hours per day

• $24–$26 per hour

• There may be opportunities for additional hours and responsibility as Dachman Audio grows

This position is based on-site in Dover, New Jersey.
