If yes, then as a Nursing Home Administrator you will:
As the Nursing Home Administrator, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards and regulations, and in accordance with policies and procedures to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times. You will also be responsible for creating an environment that engages and motivates staff to give their best each day while providing the highest level of care.
Must have:
  • 2-4 years' previous experience in long term care environment, preferably as Administrator or Assistant Administrator
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college
  • Current unencumbered Federal and State Nursing Home Administrator's license
  • Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care

Nice to have:
  • Experience in union environment
  • Documented successful track record indicating a working knowledge of State and Federal regulations relating to nursing homes based on past Department of Health Services survey results
  • Specialization in healthcare administration or business administration
