Responsibilities

The MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Technologist will assist and guide patients through MRI scans.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication, technical and patient care skills
  • Aptitude toward the team philosophy
  • Team player
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of sterile technique
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required
  • License for MRI registered
Certifications and Licenses
  • For MRI registered: One of the following is required: American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT), Certified Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) (ARRT)
  • For MRI non‑registered: Required certifications/licensures include Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana and ARRT(R) Registry; or Radiology Student Permit by the State of Indiana and ARRT registry eligible; ARRT(R) registry and Radiologic Technologist License by the State of Indiana obtained within six months.
  • ARRT(MR), ARMRIT or CAMRT registered within two years from 1/1/2020 or if job entry after 1/1/2020, within two years from date of job entry
