Medasource is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Indianapolis, Indiana.

CT Technologist Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams according to physician orders while ensuring high-quality imaging and excellent patient care. This role utilizes advanced computerized imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images that assist radiologists in diagnosing a wide range of diseases and medical conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic CT scans accurately and efficiently according to physician orders
  • Operate specialized CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Utilize RIS (Radiology Information System) and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) effectively
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures
  • Monitor patients during exams to ensure safety and comfort
  • Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Ensure proper functionality and maintenance of imaging equipment

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Current Indiana Radiologic Technologist license required
  • Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
  • Strong communication, patient care, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Minimum 2 years experience -IN License -ARRT Certified -Siemens exp preferred -Cerner EMR Shift options : Saturday, Sunday, Monday 7p-7a Nights
