Job Summary
Start your career in airport operations as an Apprentice Baggage Handling System Conveyor Technician! You'll assist with maintaining and supporting automated baggage handling systems that keep airport operations running smoothly. Training and growth opportunities provided for motivated individuals eager to learn technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
โ€ข Assist with routine inspections and basic maintenance of baggage handling conveyor systems.
โ€ข Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
โ€ข Monitor system performance and report irregularities.
โ€ข Help replace worn parts and maintain system cleanliness.
โ€ข Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
โ€ข Maintain accurate records of work performed.
โ€ข Respond to operational needs and assist during system alerts.
Qualifications
โ€ข High school diploma or equivalent.
โ€ข Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical skills.
โ€ข Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

Standard Qualifications

โ€ข Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces

โ€ข Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
โ€ข Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
โ€ข Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
โ€ข Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.
