Role Description The Apparel Design - Technical and Administrative Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Minneapolis, MN. This role supports the apparel design team with technical tasks such as updating spec sheets, organizing samples, tracking product details, and maintaining digital and physical design records. The assistant will handle administrative and clerical responsibilities, including scheduling, data entry, file management, and coordinating communication between design, production, and customer-facing teams. Day-to-day work includes preparing materials for meetings, responding to routine inquiries, assisting with customer service follow-up related to product details, and ensuring workflows and processes are documented and up to date. The role requires strong attention to detail, consistency in handling documentation, and a collaborative approach to supporting a creative, fast-paced environment.


Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Administrative Processes and Administrative Assistance, such as scheduling, organizing files, and supporting daily operational tasks.
  • Proficient Clerical Skills, including data entry, record keeping, document preparation, and basic office software use.
  • High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail in managing technical and administrative information.
  • Comfort working in an on-site, team-oriented environment within a creative setting.
  • Familiarity with apparel design workflows, product specifications, or fashion-related documentation is a plus.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
