Summary

AOI is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the recruitment process, including collaborating with hiring team, managing candidate pipelines, and supporting various HR activities. The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will be involved in searching and identifying suitable candidates for AOI. Working closely with the recruitment team and hiring managers, this position plays a key role in building a robust candidate pipeline and ensuring a steady flow of qualified candidates for various positions. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of proactive sourcing skills, relationship-building abilities, and a strong understanding of the talent market. The ideal candidate should have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of a quality full cycle recruitment service and contribute to the recruitment strategy and objectives
  • Work closely with TA team and hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and develop targeted sourcing strategies
  • Assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit through initial conversations and screening processes
  • Provide detailed and relevant information to hiring team
  • Extend offers and negotiate compensation
  • Initiate contact with passive candidates and maintain a strong network of potential candidates for current and future opportunities
  • Foster relationships to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and talent market dynamics to provide insights and recommendations for talent acquisition strategies
  • Assists and prepares correspondence as requested
  • Other HR tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, business administration, liberal arts, or similar discipline
  • 2+ yearsโ€™ experience in HR and recruiting or similar role in engineering or manufacturing organization
  • Experience in recruitment coordination
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) ClearCompany a plus
  • Proficiency in Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Familiar with ADP WorkforceNow or other HRIS
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments with competing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport quickly with candidate and employees
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Vietnamese, or Mandarin Chinese is preferred

Location & Work Environment

This position is full-time onsite and based in Sugar Land, Texas. This location has a combination of office, warehouse, and cleanroom manufacturing work environments. Expected business hours for this position are 9am to 6pm CT, Monday through Friday.
