Additionally, balancing speed with accuracy can be demanding, especially when managing multiple scenes or revisions at once.

What job can I get working in animation if I can't draw?

Assistant Animation Clean Up Artists focus on refining and cleaning up animated frames, which requires attention to detail and knowledge of animation software rather than drawing skills. Other roles in animation, such as storyboard revision or production assistant, may also involve less drawing and more organization, editing, or technical tasks. Developing skills in animation tools like Toon Boom or Adobe Animate can help you find related positions in the industry.

Will AI replace animators?

AI technology is increasingly used to assist animators, such as automating in-betweening and clean-up tasks, but it is unlikely to fully replace skilled assistant animation clean-up artists. Human oversight remains essential for quality, creativity, and nuanced adjustments in animation workflows. AI tools serve as complements that enhance productivity rather than substitutes for experienced professionals.
