Job description

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Analytics Senior Analyst for its Irving, TX location.
Duties: Conduct strategic data analysis, identify insights and implications, make strategic recommendations, and develop data displays that clearly communicate complex analysis. Analyze data from various banking platforms to drive optimization and improve data quality. Deliver analytics initiatives to address business problems with the ability to identify data required, assess time, and establish a project plan. Consult with business clients to identify system functional specifications. Apply comprehensive understanding of how multiple areas collectively integrate to contribute toward achieving business goals. Consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems, and industry standards, and recommend solutions. Perform system change process from requirements through implementation. Provide user and operational support of application to business users. Formulate and define system scope and objectives for complex projects through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry standards. Consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment while identifying and communicating risks and impacts. Assist communication between business leaders and IT. Exhibit sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related quantitative occupation designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence dashboards and analytical reports. Five (5) years of experience must include: Designing and developing regulatory, operational, and business intelligence (BI) reports and dashboards for consumer banking; Conducting enterprise-level analytics using tools including IBM Cognos Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, and OBIEE; Creating and maintaining data reconciliation and simulation frameworks tailored to consumer banking wealth management, ensuring data accuracy and compliance; Automating BI reporting and end-user computing (EUC) processes using EUC management tools, Shell scripting, and CI/CD deployment pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes) to enhance scalability and operational efficiency; Engineering advanced cloud-based analytics solutions by applying predictive, prescriptive, descriptive, and real-time analytics, and leveraging machine learning algorithms (Regression, Clustering, and Gradient Boosting) and AI-driven insights using advanced Python libraries; and Building and deploying APIs to provide Query as a Service functionality for financial services and consumer banking applications, utilizing programming languages including Python, Java, and SQL. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience. Employer will accept pre- or post- Master's degree experience. 40 hrs./wk.
