The Full Stack Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the implementation as well as maintenance and support activities for new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis, programming activities and system stability.
Responsibilities:
  • Write good quality code in Java, Spring Boot (related stack), Angular or any other UI tech stack when needed.
  • Manage, maintain and support applications and their operating environments, focusing on stability, quality and functionality against service level expectations.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical bugs and system issues manual and programmatic analysis and by leveraging AI-powered monitoring tools and predictive analytics to proactively identify root causes and prevent future incidents.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement and maintain machine learning models that automate incident detection, risk assessment, and escalation processes within production environments.
  • Develop and enhance support documentation and troubleshooting guides using generative AI to ensure rapid and accurate resolution of recurring issues.
  • Continuously monitor application performance and stability, utilizing AI-driven anomaly detection to optimize system reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Evaluate and integrate new AI technologies and frameworks into the support workflow to improve efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, and deliver actionable insights for process improvement.
  • Partners with appropriate development and production support teams to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements.
  • Monitor and participate in all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
  • Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
  • Exercise independent judgment and autonomy, serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
  • 6-9 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in systems analysis and programming software applications
  • Technical Support experience is desirable
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
  • Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Skills Required:
  • Must have expert level (hands-on) knowledge and understanding in JAVA/J2EE spring boot, REST APIs, spring framework stack
  • Must have deep understanding of Microservice and its best practices, patterns is highly preferred
  • Must have Hands-on MongoDB experience
  • Good Knowledge of UI/UX Design and Angular.
  • Experience working in a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environment and familiar with Harness, Jenkins, Code Quality etc.
  • Experience developing applications in Financial Services industry is preferred
  • Experience with cloud-native and containerized architectures, and cloud-related technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and Messaging Systems: IBM MQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Tibco. etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Kibana, Splunk, AppDynamics, Glassbox, Redis, Hazelcast, MemCached etc
  • Knowledge of building GenAI solutions using LLMs and vector databases is desirable.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
  • Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks, such as Langchain, Langraph, MLOps is desirable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand.
