Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care within a busy outpatient allergy practice. The role involves assessing patients, administering injections, and educating patients on treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in a busy outpatient allergy practice.
  • Assess patients, obtain medical histories, and document clinical information in the electronic medical record.
  • Administer allergy injections, medications, immunizations, and other treatments as per provider orders and clinical protocols.
  • Monitor patients for adverse or allergic reactions following treatments and respond to medical emergencies.
  • Educate patients on allergy testing, immunotherapy, medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
  • Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with allergy testing, procedures, and examinations.
  • Perform clinical triage, answer patient questions, and coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
  • Active BLS
  • Active LPN or RN license in Massachusetts
  • Previous injection experience
  • Previous allergy experience preferred
  • Epic experience preferred

Skills
