Smile Brite Orthodontics in Sachse, TX, is looking for a talented, full-time Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our private, single-location practice.THE BASICSPay: We offer this position a competitive pay range of $20 - $24 per hour.Schedule: You will work an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, right here in Sachse. You will handle everything from photos, x-rays, and intra-oral scanning to sterilization and lab work, ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of care. You will place and remove arch wires, assist with bonding brackets and attachments for aligner patients, and give clear instructions as you help patients through their treatment journey. Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will occasionally engage in administrative and marketing tasks.REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ORTHODONTIC DENTAL ASSISTANTHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ year(s) of orthodontic experienceRegistered Dental Assistant in TXExperience with bonding brackets and attachments for aligner patientsExperience with intra-oral scanning using a 3D scannerProficiency in orthodontic photos and x-raysKnowledge of sterilization procedures and skill in giving orthodontic instructionsAbility to place and remove arch wires, perform reties, and work with rubber bandsStrong work ethic and positive attitudeAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentTeam player with excellent communication skillsExperience delivering expanders and appliances, managing difficult procedures, making retainers, and 3D printing models is preferred.ABOUT US:We are passionate about creating beautiful, healthy smiles in a comfortable, caring, and high-tech environment.
