Job Summary
Duties will focus on research and development in AI security and risk, machine learning, artificial intelligence, trustworthy multi-modal and multi-agent AI system design, intelligent cyber-physical systems, and data science.
The tasks involved reading scientific peer-reviewed research articles, conducting seminars for knowledge sharing, coding and implementation, testbed development, testing, and result generation, scientific writing for peer-reviewed publications, abstract submission, and other scientific works as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be a current University of West Georgia student enrolled for six credit hours.
  • Must have and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Hands-on experience in any programming language, not limited to Python, Java, C#, etc.
  • Candidate must have completed CS1301: Computer Science I, CS1302: Computer Science II/ COMP2320: Principles of Programming or equivalent courses.
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistics, and data science.

Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions
  • Working capability in a computer and an Intelligent Critical Cyber-Physical Systems laboratory environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Current enrollment in any CS3270: Intelligent Systems, COMP3800: Data Analytics, CS4275: Machine Learning Foundations, or equivalent subject will be a plus.
  • Problem-solving capabilities, eagerness to learn new technologies, and the capability to meet deadlines.
