Job description

NOW HIRING
Compliance Specialist
Workforce Development Team • Reports to Director of Workforce Development
Goodwill of Delaware & Delaware County is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compliance Specialist to join our Workforce Development team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of program data used for internal and external funder reporting — supporting grant compliance, strengthening data reliability, and helping us deliver effective workforce development services to the participants who need them most.
What You’ll Do
  • Serve as an advocate for program participants, ensuring their needs and interests are at the core of Workforce Development services and programs.
  • Manage DVR authorizations in the AWARE DVR Portal to support timely submission of invoices and reports; upload required documentation and monitor authorizations to ensure alignment with services provided.
  • Review service delivery data within the case management system to ensure timely and accurate entry in compliance with established KPIs and contractual documentation standards.
  • Provide training to Workforce Development team members on reporting requirements and data entry standards.
  • Review program performance data and make recommendations to the Director of Workforce Development on opportunities for operational and service delivery improvements.
  • Compile service, revenue, progress, job search activity, and other program-related reports for review by the Director of Workforce Development.
  • Assist with external funding agency audits and accreditation processes by gathering documentation and compiling data from the case management system.
  • Assist with grant-related activities by gathering data and documentation for grant applications and reporting.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in service delivery, data entry, and reporting practices.
  • Complete weekly course enrollments and tracking within the Coursera platform.
  • Assist Workforce Development leadership with implementing new processes and special projects.
  • Attend conferences, workshops, and meetings as appropriate.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive participant and program information in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
  • At least two years of experience in program reporting, data coordination, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience with case management and reporting platforms such as CaseWorthy or similar systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications, with the ability to learn new technological skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data integrity, reporting, and compliance functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse constituent population.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Why This Role?
As a member of the Management Support Team, you’ll have a direct hand in strengthening the systems that make Workforce Development services possible — reducing organizational risk, improving data reliability, and ensuring program participants get the support they need. If you thrive on precision, enjoy translating data into action, and want your work to support a meaningful mission, this role is a strong fit.
