  • Enter and maintain accurate documentation within electronic tracking systems, including detainee encounters, intake assessments, hospital transfers, medication records, medical charts, inventory logs, invoices, and sign-in records.
  • Organize, file, and maintain medical records while assisting with chart audits and regulatory compliance reviews.
  • Assist with medical supply inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting supply shortages.
  • Provide clerical and operational support to the Nurse Manager and nursing department.
  • Maintain compliance with all facility policies, correctional healthcare standards, confidentiality requirements, and security procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with Registered Nurses, physicians, mental health professionals, pharmacists, correctional staff, and other members of the healthcare team.

  • Current BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; correctional or emergency nursing experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment under RN/physician supervision.
  • Strong clinical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
