Job description

Description
ABOUT FUSION92
Fusion92 is an independent marketing transformation partner, headquartered in Chicago with hubs in Detroit, Austin, and Denver. We combine consulting, data science, advanced marketing services, and proprietary technology to help brands reach the right audiences with greater precision, timing, and impact across every channel.
Our team of strategists, data scientists, media specialists, creatives, and technologists works together to solve complex marketing problems and drive measurable growth for clients in healthcare, financial services, retail, and technology. We build and own proprietary data and activation platforms, and we bring a level of integrated capability that most agencies simply can't match.
We're a recognized Best and Brightest Company to Work For, a Bronze Effie Award winner, and a team that genuinely operates on four values: Curiosity, Fearlessness, Teamwork, and Leadership. If you want to do meaningful work with smart, collaborative people in an environment that actually moves fast, we'd like to talk to you.
THE ROLE
As an Assistant Account Executive, you'll support the account team in keeping client work moving: coordinating projects, tracking deliverables, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll sit close to the client relationship from day one, learning how an integrated marketing organization operatesby helping run it.
You'll work across consulting, data, technology, and marketing teams to help translate client needs into clear next steps, and you'll use AI tools to speed up research, reporting, and organization so you can spend more time on the work that needs a person's judgment. This is a role for someone curious about how marketing transformation companies work end to end, comfortable juggling multiple accounts, and eager to build the foundation for a career in account management.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Support day-to-day management of client accounts, responding to routine inquiries and helping maintain client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate project tasks across teams, keeping deliverables on track and deadlines visible to everyone involved.
  • Maintain accurate, accessible project documentation, including status reports and action items.
  • Prepare for and help run client meetings, documenting discussions and following through on action items afterward.
  • Partner with creative, media, data, and technology teams to keep work moving smoothly from request to delivery.
  • Pull together research and reporting, including competitive and industry context, to support account and new business needs.
  • Use AI-enabled tools to speed up reporting, meeting notes, and research, while keeping judgment and client relationships human-led.
  • Handle account-related administrative work, including scheduling, correspondence, and travel coordination.
  • Build working knowledge of client industries and Fusion92's services so you can contribute more independently over time.

Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar role, internship, or client-facing capacity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and clear written and verbal communication.
  • A curious, fearless approach to new tools, new teams, and new problems, and the collaborative instinct to figure things out with others rather than alone.
  • Comfort using AI tools (or curiosity to learn) to support research, drafting, or day-to-day organization.

WHY FUSION92
You'll get a real seat on the account team from your first week, not a rotation of busywork. We're remote-flexible, invested in developing account talent from the ground up, and built around teams that actually collaborate across disciplines rather than working in silos. If you're looking for a place to learn fast and grow into bigger client responsibility, this is a strong place to start. We offer unlimited PTO, over 10+ company holidays, employer paid benefits, subscriptions to LinkedIn Learning, access to the newest AI tools and many other things to help you do your best work!
