Job description

JOB SUMMARY: The Account Representative is responsible for the support of contract management, client retention and growth of the current business from the corporate office.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for on-going support of effective communications and service to the current clients via conference calls, department meetings, and other direct contact as required.
  • Manage and organize workflows between Client Services Department and other departments to ensure efficient and accurate outcomes; proactively identify and resolve client, provider and member issues, working with multiple departments within the organization.
  • Assist Executive Director by managing the communication of client expectations to DentaQuest internal staff to ensure DentaQuest meets the terms of the RFP and contracts and expectations are delivered timely and effectively.
  • Coordinate activities that help to strengthen and expand the provider network and participate in the planning of outreach activities to members.
  • Monitor changes in regulations and fee schedules, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Responsible for generation and review of assigned client reports; ensure accuracy of information and timely delivery.
  • Research compliance failures identified on reports. Notify Executive Director of deficiencies; coordinate resolution/correction of deficiencies with appropriate internal departments.
  • Complete ad hoc reports, miscellaneous tasks and projects as requested or assigned by Executive Directors and Vice President.
  • Responsible for updating Office Reference Manuals, coordinating benefit table updates with Systems Support, and drafting provider update notifications.
  • Provide ongoing training for DentaQuest staff on administration of clients; communicate information accurately and effectively.
  • Represent DentaQuest at health fairs, member enrollment and other community events as required.
  • Update Executive Director and Vice President regularly on major issues, both internal and external.
  • Develop process improvements and increased productivity to benefit DentaQuest and the clients.
  • Perform projects as assigned by Executive Director and Vice President.
  • Adhere to DentaQuest business processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
