Summary of Role:
As an Account Representative with Monterey Financial, you will help consumers take control of their financial future by utilizing excellent customer service and negotiating skills.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist consumers with account level questions and adjustments
• Negotiate and process payment on accounts in various stages of delinquency
• Understand and adhere to MFS and Client policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and skills:
• Reliability and the desire to learn
• Excellent communication, active listening and problem solving skills
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Comfortable with fast-paced environments
• Basic math and typing skills
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
• Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
• Effectively identify and solve problems
• Basic credit and/or collection knowledge a plus
Education and/or Experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer Service Experience or Call Center Experience (preferred, not required).
