Job Title: Account Representative
Overview
The Account Representative serves as the primary point of contact for assigned customers,
managing relationships, identifying opportunities, and ensuring a high level of customer
satisfaction. This role focuses on growing existing accounts, resolving customer needs, and
collaborating internally to deliver value-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Sales Account Executive to manage assigned customer
accounts
Serve as the main liaison for assigned customer accounts
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Coordinate with internal teams (accounting, operations) to meet customer
expectations
Address customer concerns and escalating issues as needed
Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of account activity
Proactively communicate order status, changes, or potential delays
Prepare and deliver monthly reports, including inventory status and purchase order
(PO) reports
Assist customers during on-site visits to support operations and strengthen
relationships
Support new business development and lead effective onboarding of new clients
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver value-driven solutions and resolve
customer needs
Provide sales-related administrative support to executive leadership as needed
Qualifications
Experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
Computer literate, proficient with Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook.
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
