Job description

Client relationships don't run themselves - they run because someone shows up prepared, catches the small stuff before it becomes a big deal, and makes every account feel like a priority. That's you.
As an Assistant Account Manager on our Client Services team, you'll be the engine behind a portfolio of client relationships - spotting opportunities for growth, keeping campaigns on track, and turning data into stories clients actually care about. You won't just support the pod. You'll help it win.
About UpSwell
UpSwell helps clients turn campaigns into real, measurable growth - pairing sharp strategy with the kind of hands-on client care that builds relationships, not just transactions. We're a fast-growing team that moves quickly, backs each other up, and takes pride in doing right by the clients we serve. It's the kind of place where good work gets noticed - we've been named a "Best and Brightest" company five times over.
Why You'll Love It Here
• We're growing fast - which means real opportunities to grow your career right along with us.
• Hybrid work environment that gives you flexibility without losing the team energy.
What You'll Own
• Manage a portion of the book of business and grow client relationships through regular, proactive outreach.
• Prepare for client conversations with a sharp read on campaign performance and upsell opportunities.
• Process orders end-to-end - route selection, creative requests, and asset collection.
• Track proofs, send pre-campaign updates, and catch postal delays before they become problems.
• Turn data into insight: list cleaning, suppression uploads, match-back analysis, and ROI Tool activation.
• Deliver performance recaps that clients actually read and act on.
• Double-check tracking numbers, QR codes, and landing pages, and make quick creative fixes as needed.
• Guide new clients through onboarding for a smooth first experience.
Requirements
What You Bring
• An associate's degree plus 2 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree.
• 0-2 years in client services, campaign coordination, or account support.
• Solid, comfortable skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Sharp analytical, organizational, and communication instincts.
• A knack for juggling multiple systems and tools without missing a beat.
How We'll Know You're Crushing It
• Campaigns launch on time, every time.
• Your reporting and order processing are rock-solid accurate.
• Clients notice - and stick around.
The Fine Print
This role reports to a Pod Leader and carries no supervisory responsibilities.
UpSwell is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
