What is Assistance Dogs International?

Assistance Dogs International (ADI) is a coalition of non-profit organizations that train and place assistance dogs to help people with disabilities. ADI sets and promotes high standards for the training, placement, and care of assistance dogs, including guide dogs, hearing dogs, and service dogs for individuals with physical or mental health needs. Their members must adhere to strict ethical and training guidelines to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the dogs and the well-being of their handlers. ADI also works to educate the public and advocate for the rights of people using assistance dogs worldwide.
