Key Responsibilities

  • Surgical Coordination: Coordinate, schedule, and manage surgical procedures, canceling or rescheduling as needed to optimize physician schedules.

  • Patient & Clinical Engagement: Serve as a clear, professional communicator between patients, physician offices, and department personnel to deliver high patient satisfaction.

  • Pre-Operative Readiness: Facilitate pre-authorization/insurance verifications, confirm CPT/ICD-10 medical necessity, and ensure all pre-admission clearance documents are complete.

  • Team Collaboration: Liaise with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and clinical teams to confirm equipment, implant availability, and procedure times.

  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain precise data entry in electronic health records (EHR) while adhering strictly to HIPAA and confidential patient privacy rules.

What We’re Looking For

  • Basic: Customer service experience (healthcare/clinical preferred), sollid Windows computer skills, multitasking ability, top-notch phone etiquette, and creative problem-solving.

  • Preferred: 3+ years in customer service/call center; recent hospital or surgical scheduling experience; Associate’s degree in Healthcare Admin or related field.
