As an Assistant Manager, you will enable operational and sales excellence, ensuring that both our customers and associates have exceptional experiences. You will break down barriers and actively seek meaningful partnerships, using curiosity and a solutions mindset to build relationships and drive business growth. 
Additionally, you will create an environment focused on high performance, results, and a customer-first mentality through leading by example and effective coaching. Your responsibilities will include hiring, onboarding, training, and developing our team with a focus on empowerment and growth.

Specifically, you will

  • Customer Experience: Lead and coach the team to provide exceptional customer service. Engage with customers, offer tailored products and services, and handle escalated customer situations. Provide leadership and guidance to ensure our customer experience is seamless and focused on longer term partnerships, especially with our business customers.
  • Sales Leadership: Drive an inspired and recognition approach through your team to enable strong sales-focused partnerships with our customers. Create an environment through your leadership in which all our Sales Associates can be their best for our customers. Utilize sales and metrics reports to create action plans and achieve business results.
  • Team Development: Attract, train, develop, and engage associates. Provide clear and regular coaching and feedback to enable continuous improvement and career centered development is ongoing. Manage performance appraisals and career action plans.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Asset Protection, Privacy, Policies, and Procedures. Manage inventory, merchandising, and brand standards.
  • Communication: Maintain daily communication with the team. Ensure consistency and execution of all sales and customer engagement tools.

  • 2-3 years of retail management experience, with direct accountability for achieving sales and service targets.
  • Experience in leading, coaching, developing talent, and managing teams with a customer and sales-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; people are inspired by your communication skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
