We are hiringaDigital Asset GD AML/KYC Specialisttobe an AML/KYCsubject matter expert,participatingin workstreams to build digital asset operations within State Street's infrastructure.You willbe responsible forsharing knowledge andexpertisearound current operational workflows,maintainingalignment toAML/KYCleadership, escalatingany concerns to functional leadership,acquiringapprovals of new models with functional leadership, andmaintainingalignmentwithdigital asset operations leadership.We expect this candidate to have a risk excellentmindset and be proficientestablishingan effective control environment.The ideal candidate should understand digital asset concepts (blockchain knowledge, understanding of digital asset types,decentralized finance, tokenization, etc). At aminimumthis candidate should have intellectual curiosity to learn about digital asset servicing.This role will have a dual reporting line toAML/KYCleadership and digital asset operations leadership.

What you will be responsible for

As aDigital Asset GD AML/KYC Specialist,you will

  • Participate inworkstreamsas an AML/KYCsubject matter expert fordigitalassetoperations across a portfolio of value streams to deliver digitalassetcapabilities

  • Fosteralignment between value streams, manage interdependencies, and deliver value at an organizational level

  • Establish risk control procedures to ensure risk excellence across all capabilities

  • Partner with testing teamsto develop, test, and enhance capability development in UAT and Production

  • Manage risks, resources, and stakeholder communications across the workstream

  • Provide regular communication and reporting updates to ensure full transparency and clarity of workstream deliveryto both the functional leadership teams anddigitalassetoperations leadership teams

  • Ability to escalate risks and decision points quickly to the appropriate stakeholders, whether that be functional leadership, digital leadership, and/or project leadership

  • Ability to review and vet a new operating model for viability and alignment to our existing infrastructure

  • Risk, compliance, and control management experience, includingexecuting and evidencing first-line controls in accordance with State Street's control frameworks, ensuring robust adherence to AML/KYC and financial crime requirements

  • Experiencemaintaining audit-readiness and supporting internal and external audits,compliance testing,and regulatory reviewsincluding evidence collation, issue response coordination, and remediation tracking

  • Identifying control gaps and operational risks early and performing root cause analysis and implementing sustainable action plans to prevent recurrence

  • Maintaining strong data quality and documentation discipline to support auditability and effective decision-making

  • Executing on a project as a critical stakeholder,including excellent time management and multi-tasking skills

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline

  • Minimum10yearsofexperiencein AML/KYC functions

  • AML/Financial Crime certificationsarepreferred

  • Ability to excel when faced with the unknown and challenged to develop newways

  • Excellent communication and escalation ability

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and external stakeholders

  • Hands-on experience with digital assets and wallets,distributed ledger technology, tokenization is preferred

Salary Range:

$70,000 - $130,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
