IT Asset and Lifecycle Coordinator

Ripple IT

Job description

Ripple IT is hiring an IT Asset and Lifecycle Coordinator to help us deliver a seamless employee and client experience across onboarding, hardware logistics, inventory, and ongoing operational execution. This role is a client-facing employee lifecycle and procurement function focused on creating a smooth technology experience while improving efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction as we scale.
This person will be based onsite at Saltbox (West Midtown - Atlanta) five days a week and will serve as the operational hub between clients, internal teams, devices, inventory, and shipping/receiving.
Mission for a Ripple IT Asset and Lifecycle Coordinator:
To make Ripple clients feel human, especially when they are onboarding or off-boarding. To solve problems - and prevent future ones - using smart thinking. To become a better person in the process and help us become better people for knowing you.
Our Values:
Assume Good Intentions
Ripplers assume that others have good intentions, even when we vigorously disagree.
Listening to others without presuming malice allows for constructive discussion and lets us focus on the problem.
Best is Best
We endeavor to find the best ways to do things, even (especially) if it means learning something new. This means practicing vulnerability and shelving ego. It also means that anything that has been codified can be de-codified and replaced with something better.
Caring Comes First
No one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care. We demonstrate this by listening, guiding, explaining and following-up. Showing someone that you care is expression plus action.
Support Each Other
We are a team built on love and it is incumbent upon each of us to support each other and help one another grow. We practice candor with kindness, we listen to each other, and we help one another with challenges personal and professional, big and small.
Requirements
  • Coordinate employee lifecycle resources and tasks across onboarding, role changes, and off-boarding
  • Manage inventory and inventory levels at Saltbox, keeping hardware accurate, organized, and ready to deploy
  • Own shipping and receiving, including inbound equipment, outbound new hire shipments, returns, and internal transfers
  • Chat with clients during new onboarding engagements to setup the Employee Lifecycle program
  • Maintain ongoing client communication related to large initiatives, hiring ramps, refreshes, office moves, and other operational changes
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure the right equipment, timing, documentation, and communication are in place for every lifecycle event
  • Support hardware disposition and related operational documentation, including Certificates of Destruction where needed.
  • Look for ways to improve workflows, reduce errors, and build more scalable lifecycle and procurement operations.

How you will know if you are successful:
  • New hires get the right equipment, on time, with fewer misses and less back-and-forth
  • Inventory at Saltbox is reliable, current, and easy to action
  • Shipping and receiving runs cleanly and predictably
  • Clients feel informed and confident during employee changes and larger operational initiatives
  • Internal teams trust this person to keep the moving pieces organized and progressing
  • Processes get better over time, not more chaotic as volume grows

What you need to bring:
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations, employee lifecycle coordination, procurement, inventory management, shipping/receiving, office operations, or client service
  • Strong organizational skills and a high level of follow-through
  • Comfort managing many moving parts at once without losing detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence working directly with clients and translating needs into clear operational plans
  • Strong judgment around prioritization, escalation, and spend coordination
  • Comfort working in a highly hands-on role that blends administrative work, logistics work, and client communication
  • Ability to work onsite at Saltbox five days per week

Helpful Experience
  • Experience in an MSP, IT services, operations, or procurement-heavy environment
  • Familiarity with hardware ordering, asset tracking, and device lifecycle workflows
  • Experience coordinating onboarding programs across multiple clients or teams
  • Experience with documentation, compliance-minded operations, or disposal workflows
  • Familiarity with Apple, Windows, and standard business-user hardware packages

Benefits
What we'll bring:
  • A workplace of unrivaled flexibility
  • Amazing clients and coworkers
  • Challenging work
  • A team that cares about you and your goals
