Compensation: $32.00 - $40.00/hour DOE
Join Our Team as an Asset Manager
VPI Compounding is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Asset Manager to join our team. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with inventory, procurement, vendors, equipment tracking, and cross-department communication.
As the Asset Manager, you will help ensure that VPI's physical and digital assets are properly tracked, maintained, and used efficiently. This position plays an important role in supporting daily operations, managing resources, and helping maintain compliance within a healthcare and pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
As the Asset Manager at VPI Compounding, your responsibilities will include:
  • Maintain accurate records of company assets, including equipment, materials, inventory, and facility-related resources
  • Assist with asset tracking, documentation, tagging, and lifecycle management
  • Oversee procurement needs for company supplies, equipment, materials, APIs, and other pharmacy-related items
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to request pricing, place orders, resolve issues, and monitor product quality
  • Monitor stock levels and help prevent stockouts, overstocking, or unnecessary expenses
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and updates for equipment and facility-related assets
  • Support compliance by ensuring assets, supplies, and equipment are properly documented and maintained
  • Work closely with Operations, IT, and other departments to support asset planning and resource needs
  • Provide updates and reporting to leadership regarding asset usage, procurement, vendor performance, and cost-saving opportunities

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience in asset management, procurement, inventory, purchasing, or operations preferred
  • Experience in a healthcare, pharmacy, or pharmaceutical setting is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally with vendors, leadership, and team members
  • Comfortable using computer systems, spreadsheets, and tracking tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks
  • Must be dependable, proactive, and able to work both independently and with a team

Physical Demands
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility as needed
  • May occasionally assist with checking, organizing, or locating inventory and equipment
