Atlantic Pacific Companies, one of the Southeast's fastest-growing multifamily investment firms, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Asset Management Analyst to join our team. This position reports directly to the Asset Manager and will support the Asset Management team in overseeing a multifamily portfolio throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Job Description
The Asset Management Analyst will serve as a key member of the Asset Management team, providing financial analysis, reporting, and operational support across a portfolio of multifamily assets. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an analytical, detail-oriented professional to build a strong foundation in commercial real estate asset management while contributing to portfolio performance and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build, maintain, and update property-level and portfolio-level financial models, including cash flow projections, return analyses, and operational scenarios.
  • Analyze financial statements, rent rolls, operating reports, and other property performance data.
  • Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting processes.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analyses, including tracking rents, occupancy, concessions, and leasing trends.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and reporting packages for senior leadership, capital partners, and lenders.
  • Monitor capital improvement projects and track performance against approved budgets and timelines.
  • Support acquisition and disposition due diligence efforts through data collection and financial analysis.
  • Partner with property management teams to support operational and financial objectives across the portfolio.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Zero to three (0-3) years of experience in commercial real estate, multifamily housing, asset management, financial analysis, or a related field. Relevant internship experience will be considered.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Yardi, RealPage, or similar property management and reporting systems is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
