Job Purpose:
The Asset Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing government assets.This includes tracking inventory, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting in audits.The specialist helps ensure that all property is used efficiently and maintained properly.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage government property inventory, keeping accurate records of all assets, acquisitions, and disposals.
  • Ensure strict compliance with government regulations for property management and assist in preparing for audits and inspections.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline property management activities and maintain accurate records of all Department of Energy property.
  • Identify and assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction, meeting company expectations and call metric goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by going the extra mile to engage customers and resolve issues effectively.
  • Support departmental standards and procedures while using sound judgment in communicating customer concerns and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/ GED diploma or Associate's Degree
  • Must possess a Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) certification
  • Knowledge of property management practices
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare reports
  • Great Oral and Written Communication Skills.
  • Great Attention to Detail and People Skills
  • Great Organizational and Multitasking Skills
  • Problem Solving and Critical Thinking Skills
  • Entry level Technical Skills
  • High School Diploma or 1 year of solid Customer Service Skills
