Deskside Support Technician

Location: York, NE

Type: Full-Time | Onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Deskside Support Technician to provide onsite technical support in a corporate office environment. This role will focus on end-user support, hardware and software troubleshooting, workstation deployments, asset management, and day-to-day deskside operations.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, experience supporting Windows environments, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader IT team.

Key Responsibilities

Workstation Support

  • Provide hardware and software break/fix support for Windows 10/11 systems
  • Perform IMAC services (Installs, Moves, Adds, and Changes)
  • Image, configure, and deploy desktops and laptops
  • Support printers, monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals
  • Install approved software and applications
  • Troubleshoot network, wireless, and VPN connectivity issues

Asset Management

  • Maintain accurate asset inventory and documentation
  • Perform asset tagging, recovery, and disposal activities
  • Prepare and package devices for deployment, return, or disposal
  • Support equipment check-in and check-out processes

Customer Support

  • Deliver high-quality onsite technical support to end users
  • Document and update incidents in the ticketing system
  • Follow up on open tickets to ensure timely resolution
  • Partner with other IT teams to resolve escalated issues

Mobile Device Support

  • Support iOS and Android devices, including email setup and basic troubleshooting
  • Assist users with mobile device configuration and connectivity issues
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Deskside, Desktop, or Help Desk support experience
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and peripheral devices
  • Experience with ticketing systems and asset management
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed

This is a Contract position based out of York, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
