Job description

What does a Warehouse Supervisor do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Responsible for supervising the warehousing and shipping of incoming and outgoing materials. Supervises warehouse personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
  • Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse ensuring the following of safety operating procedures
  • Schedule warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility
  • Allocate necessary space for stock rotation
  • Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control
  • Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable
  • Secure company assets
  • Manage within labor and OPEX budget
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

    • High School Diploma (or GED) required and
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • 2-4 years warehouse/inventory experience required and
    • 2-4 years supervising warehouse/inventory staff required and
    • Experience managing budget required
    • Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office programs
    • Proficient with SAP or similar MRP programs
    • Able to lead front-line employees effectively - may be in a unionized environment
    • Attention to detail
    • Team oriented
    • Can-do Will do Attitude
    • Able to handle conflict
    • Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack required
    • Ability lift product (up to 50lb) frequently and repetitively required
