The VA's client environment focuses on delivering comprehensive healthcare services to eligible veterans across multiple facilities, including hospitals and outpatient clinics. Provide services and support as a Industrial Hygiene Services (Laboratory Technician (Environmental Microbiology and Chemistry)) in the DOD/Military Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) | Western North Carolina VA Health Care System (WNCVAHCS) Located In Western North Carolina (Western North Carolina VA Health Care System) and across the Mid Atlantic Region.

• Conduct laboratory analysis for air quality, microbiological, toxicological, and chemical testing.

• Lab accreditation via AIHA's EMLAP.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• Relevant degree in microbiology or chemistry, lab accreditation.

Skills Required

• Sample processing, analysis techniques, data recording.

Competencies Required
