Job description

Location & Compensation
  • Buffalo, NY * Be part of an exciting journey as we prepare for production at our new facility in the Western New York Science & Technology Advanced Manufacturing Park (STAMP).

  • Salary Range: $38,000 - $54,000

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
Your role
The primary mission of the Assembly & Test Technician is to support various work centers, including electronics, pump module assembly, system assembly & test, and final assembly, to ensure seamless production flow and high-quality output. The A&T Technician will primarily build and assemble modules, cables and dry pumps using engineered drawings and documented requirements. The A&T Technician is required to meet the build standard as defined in the assembly and test procedures and maintain a continuous throughput in their area of responsibility.
You will
  • Assemble and test modules, cables and dry pumps in line with the daily production plan - focusing on quality and output targets.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Follows assembly and test instructions and procedures to meet output quality requirements.
  • Support the training of team members and collaborate to drive improvement and efficiency.
  • Maintaining a good working relationship with department colleagues and the supporting departments.
  • Communicate and seek guidance where there are errors or difficulty in build.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the assembly meets quality standards.

  • High School diploma or equivalent / associated experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of the principles of mechanical component constructions and assembly and test. Dependent on assigned area.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and diagrams.
  • Experience with hand tools and small power tools, including pnuematic.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
