Job Title: 2nd Shift Production AssociateJob Description

The 2nd Shift Production Associate works within a fast-paced manufacturing environment across multiple production departments, including Assembly, Brazing, Crating, Expanding, Hairpin, Header Fabrication, Testing, Press, and related areas. This role supports the full production cycle by operating machinery, performing assembly tasks, and following detailed work instructions and drawings. Every production department plays a critical role in the overall success of the business, and this position contributes directly to meeting quality, safety, and productivity goals.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned production tasks in areas such as Assembly, Brazing, Crating, Expanding, Hairpin, Header Fabrication, Testing, Press, and other related departments, meeting or exceeding established performance expectations.
  • Operate production and manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently, following all standard operating procedures and training guidelines.
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and other task-related documents to complete work accurately and according to specifications.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and rules at all times, and promptly raise any safety concerns to a lead or supervisor.
  • Maintain a continuous safety mindset and avoid unprofessional conduct, including any form of horseplay while on company property.
  • Meet and maintain quality expectations set by the quality team, ensuring products and components meet required standards.
  • Participate in training as needed and demonstrate clear evidence of improvement in any specified duty where additional coaching is provided.
  • Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled 2nd shift work, including wearing required personal protective equipment and carrying an access badge at all times.
  • Work effectively in small group settings or independently, depending on production needs, while maintaining professional conduct.
  • Handle interpersonal disagreements professionally and maintain a respectful, collaborative attitude with coworkers and leaders.
  • Use hand tools and production equipment appropriately, keeping work areas organized, clean, and safe.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Preferred: 1+ years of prior experience operating manufacturing machinery such as presses, expanders (mechanical or hydro), CNC equipment, panel control saws, pressure testing equipment, or similar machines.
  • Preferred: 1+ years of prior experience brazing, including copper-to-copper brazing using single and/or double tip torch setups.
  • Preferred: 1–3 years of prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: Proficiency with computers and common software programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Preferred: Experience working in a mid-sized company where gap-filling and flexibility in responsibilities are routine.
  • Willingness to complete additional certifications or training as required for specific departments or equipment.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $45760.00/yr.
