Scope of Position

Thishighly motivated and detail-orientedindividual, as part of theManufacturing Operations team, will be responsible for assembling components and products while providing day-to-day leadership and guidance to a team of assemblers. This role ensures production goals are met safely, efficiently, and with high quality standards.

This position is responsible for oversight ofAssemblers.

This position reports to Value Stream Supervisor. This role isonsiteand is based inFort Worth, Texas.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on assembly of mechanical and/or electrical components according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Lead and coordinate daily activities of the assembly team to meet production schedules and quality standards.
  • Train new assemblers and ensure adherence to safety and operational procedures.
  • Monitor workflow and provide feedback to management on team performance and process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve issues.
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned byProduction Supervisoror Company management.
  • Demonstrate and promoteIntegrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, and Transparencyin all aspects of the role.
  • Travel Requirements:Minimal (0-5%), may include occasional visits to other Watts facilities.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (in absence of diploma, relevant work experience may be considered).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable safety practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, includingcriminal history, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical certification or coursework in manufacturing or mechanical assembly.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use hand/power tools effectively.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company'sFort Worth, Texaslocation. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to25 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull up to25pounds.
  • Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
