Job description

Operators are responsible for controlling and executing operations of light assembly and final part packing operations according to work instructions and requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs machine, assembly and packing operations with limited dimensional inspection to detect defects or equipment malfunction.
  • Responsible to recognize and identify suspect and non-conforming parts.
  • Responsible to assure proper use of all appropriate safeguarding and safety features at all times.
  • Efficiently and accurately reports inventory and labor data to maintain accurate and timely records.
  • Perform various other duties from time to time required by the Supervisor and/or Production Manager.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with appropriate relevant experience.
  • This is a hands-on position and requires mechanical abilities and problem solving skills.
  • The work requires standing, bending and repetitive motions.
  • Lifting of 40 pounds is required, as well as the ability to grip and use hand tools.
  • Must possess general knowledge of metal stamping equipment operation.
  • Ability to complete required paperwork through basic reading and writing skills.
