Acoustical Sheetmetal Company (ASC) provides on-site power integration for large-scale data centers. We offer sound-attenuated and weather-protective packaging for on-site power generation equipment, with products ranging from economical skin-tight enclosures to entire multi-unit power plants.

Role Overview

The Assistant Supervisor supports the Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the department by helping manage team performance, schedules, project execution, and employee development. This role partners closely with the Supervisor to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manages the team, schedules, and deadlines.
  • Provides material list for each project.
  • Provides cost outs for each project.
  • Ensures that work is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintains documentation of each job, from start to finish.
  • Resolves issues or conflicts with Plant Supervisor and/or HR.
  • Approves or denies vacation, sick and unpaid leave for employees.
  • Writes and present annual performance reviews.
  • Provides continual feedback to employees in department regarding their work performance.
  • Leads by example.

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to regularly walk the production floor and interact with manufacturing teams
  • Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout manufacturing areas during assessments and improvement activities
  • Ability to occasionally lift upto50lbs
  • Ability to support multiple shifts and work flexible hours when required to facilitate improvement initiatives
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environments
