SCHEDULE:

  • Night Shift hours are 7:30pm – 6:10am
  • During training you work 5 shifts that are 8 hours a day for 2 weeks
  • Once training is complete you work 4 shifts that are 10 hours a day each week
  • Picking up overtime shifts is allowed and encouraged.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies
  • Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies
  • Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations as needed
  • Adjust machine as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production
  • Spend up to 10 hours a day in a stationary position on the ergonomically enhanced BMW assembly line
  • Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools
  • Conduct quality control checks periodically and maintain quality standards


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and show problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Must be able to maintain a stationary position during a shift
  • Must be able to position self to shift between upright and low stances
  • Must be able to reach overhead as necessary to perform job functions
  • Must be able to position self to maintain and operate machinery to perform job functions
  • Must be able to move and transport to up to 50lbs unassisted


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 1 year production/manufacturing/assembly or other applicable experience
  • High school diploma or GED
