Assembly Supervisor
We are seeking an effective and motivated Assembly Supervisor to delegate work, oversee progress towards goals, and coach team members as needed.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate the team.
  • Manage the team’s production
  • Manage performance and solve problems.
  • Care for the health, safety and welfare of the team.
  • Foster open communication.
  • Create a positive work environment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Experience supervising and/or leading teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills including working knowledge of the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to learn how to effectively use databases systems such as ERP’s.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Supervision Received:
Works with minimal supervision. Issues and concerns need to be communicated to supervisor.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Previous supervisory and/or experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting: Occasionally raises objects from a lower to a higher position or moves objects horizontally from position-to position. Weight is usually less than 20 lbs.

  • Manual dexterity is needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.
