Description
INTRODUCTION: This position reports to Assembly Supervisor . It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.
ASSEMBLY FLARE LEAD - Performs duties associated with all areas of the assembly department and employees assigned to shift
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Include, but are not limited to:
a) General efficiency.
b) General quality.
c) Decision making priority in assembly.
d) Issue paint, gloves and safety equipment as necessary.
e) Assign task to assemblers and others when required.
f) Label products correctly.
g) Operate in compliance with Basic Processes and Work Instructions.
Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
a) High School Diploma or GED Certification preferred.
b) Leadership ability is preferred.
c) Supervisor experience required.
d) One year on the job experience in assembly required.
e) Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office/MRP System
f) Ability to obtain JOST International Forklift Certification and Low-lift Pallet Truck Certification.
g) Ability to gain knowledge of company products. Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures .
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
a) Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of time
b) While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance. \
