Job description

Do you enjoy working with your hands and building high-quality products? Spacesaver is looking for an Assembler to join our team. In this role, you’ll assemble mechanical and electrical components using precision tools and follow detailed instructions to ensure every product meets our exacting standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform assembly processes for mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies using hand tools, electronic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Interpret shop orders, engineered drawings, and blueprints to assemble products to specifications.
  • Handle and accurately count/package small parts using precision scales and hand-count methods.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including Lock Out Tagout and ergonomic practices.
  • Conduct quality inspections using blueprints and precision measuring devices.
  • Maintain production efficiency and complete tasks according to manufacturing schedules.
  • Use Spacesaver’s ERP system to manage shop orders and report production data.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in other work areas as needed.
  • Always work safely and adhere to scheduled hours, including overtime when required.
What We’re Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Familiarity with PC navigation, scanning, and data entry.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and memos in English (translation assistance available upon request).
  • Skilled in using precision measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, dial indicators, scales, protractors, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
