Division: Blackstone-Ney Ultrasonics
Department: Manufacturing
Reports To: BNU Manufacturing Manager
Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Blackstone-Ney Ultrasonics (BNU) is looking for a hands-on Assembly Technician to join our Manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of what we do-assembling high-quality, precision ultrasonic components that meet exacting engineering standards and exceed customer expectations. What You'll Do
As an Assembly Technician, you'll be responsible for building, inspecting, testing, and documenting mechanical and electrical assemblies with accuracy and care. Your day-to-day work will include:
  • Assembling intricate mechanical components and systems using engineering specifications and blueprints
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics to integrate wiring and electrical elements into assemblies
  • Performing functional tests to ensure products meet design, quality, and performance standards
  • Inspecting parts for proper assembly and cosmetic quality; identifying and tagging non-conforming parts for rework
  • Using and maintaining assembly tools and equipment properly and safely
  • Monitoring assembly supplies, maintaining inventory awareness, and communicating needs to your supervisor
  • Completing production and quality documentation accurately and on time
  • Following all safety guidelines to maintain a secure and efficient work environment
  • Supporting additional manufacturing tasks as needed

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics
  • Ability to distinguish all colors
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Experience
  • 1-2 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
