Job description

This Warehouse Associate position is a hands-on role and responsible for the end-to-end logistics of our high-end event rental inventory. The ideal candidate will execute meticulous order preparation and quality control, ensure the safe and protective transport of delicate items, perform professional on-site assembly, and manage precise inventory verification during both delivery and post-event pickup, all while upholding Nuageโ€™s highest standards for client interaction and safety.


Duties and responsibilities The key functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Order Preparation and Quality Control
  • Verify all details in the system, including dates, times, addresses, item lists, and special requirements (e.g., restricted hours, assembly needs, limited access). Communicate any inconsistencies immediately to the supervisor.

  • Conduct a thorough inspection of each piece, ensuring it is clean, undamaged, and fully functional. Perform necessary detailing (polishing glass, furniture) and document the condition of items before loading.

  • Select and utilize appropriate protective materials (covers, blankets, plastics, dividers) for each item. Ensure vehicles are loaded securely to prevent movement or damage during transport, and label all containers clearly by type and destination.


Transportation and Delivery
  • Confirm the assigned route and schedule with the logistics coordinator, and verify that the delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in optimal working condition.

  • Greet the client or event coordinator cordially. Confirm the unloading area and access route before commencing work. Handle all inventory with extreme care, using clean hands or gloves.

  • Precisely follow client plans or instructions for item placement. Ensure symmetry, alignment, impeccable presentation, and verify that all assembled items are level, clean, and free of visible marks.


Final Verification and Documentation
  • Review the delivery list point-by-point with the client or coordinator to confirm all items have been successfully received.

  • Note any observations or visible damage on the delivery document and obtain the signature of the responsible client representative.
