Assembly Worker – No Experience Needed!

 Elgin, IL | Short-Term Assignment | Training Provided

 Pay & Schedule

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:15 PM — $16.00/hr
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM–11:00 PM — $17.50/hr

Job Overview

We are hiring Assembly Workers in Elgin, IN for a short-term opportunity assembling 2-way radios. No previous experience is required! Training will be provided.

Employees will be cross-trained and regularly rotated through different roles, so candidates must be comfortable learning new tasks and working in different areas throughout the shift.

 Job Duties
  • Scan job orders and work instructions
  • Pick parts and scan them before attaching
  • Select and apply labels
  • Assemble 2-way radios and connect components
  • Use a torque gun to assemble radio components
  • Test products before packing for shipment
  • Perform quality inspections
  • Cut boxes and prepare packaging
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Assist other areas when needed
  • Follow directions and safety procedures
? Quality Inspection

Inspection 1:

  • Check screens for cleanliness
  • Make sure there are no scratches
  • Check for loose or hanging cables

Inspection 2:

  • Verify buttons are correct
  • Test the product to ensure it works properly
  • Confirm labels are correct and properly attached
? Physical Requirements
  • Stand and move around the work area for the entire shift
  • Lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted
  • Lift 50+ lbs. with a team lift
  • Perform repetitive assembly and inspection tasks
