Job Description: Warehouse Associate - Beyond Road Distribution Centers
WE ARE A MEMBER OF THE MICHELIN GROUP
We serve the material handling, construction, agriculture and powersport industries by manufacturing and distributing off-the-road tires, wheels, rubber tracks and track systems.
WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE - ROLE MISSION
• Support the Distribution Center Management in accomplishing distribution center productivity goals.
• Responsibilities include receiving/shipping product, production assembly, inventory management, cost control, safety, quality, and team effectiveness.
WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Safe and efficient inbound/outbound transportation of product to assigned location.
• Verify inbound/outbound shipments are accurate/free of damage, report quality variances.
• Monitor warehouse equipment and perform preventative maintenance to mitigate product defects or machine malfunction.
• Utilize scanner to record and track accurate inventory levels.
• Support general warehouse operations by assisting with inbound/outbound/assembly process as required.
• Engage in cycle counting activities to maintain accurate inventory levels, assist in physical inventories.
• Develop skillset of warehouse & assembly associate via cross-training opportunities.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed standard work procedures, comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Report to Team Leader immediately issues on available stock, material that does not meet quality standards, safety concerns/potential hazards, equipment maintenance.
Note to applicant:
Schedule: A typical work week will be Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays. For working hours, shifts: 8:30am - 5:00pm. (8 hours)
Job Requirements: The job requires some manual tasks (10% - 25% of daily load), computer skills (to use warehouse management devices) and forklift and standing reach truck experience preferred.
Physical requirements: regular bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching movements, lifting product of weights up to 75 pounds with assistance, standing for prolonged periods.
Starting rate of pay: $21.93/hr.
