Mayer Landscape is seeking a motivated, experienced bilingual Field Manager to lead our landscape maintenance and enhancement crews. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, leading teams, and ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Position Overview

The Field Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of field operations, ensuring all landscape maintenance work is completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations. This position helps support operations in our enhancement division, and plays a key role in team leadership, safety, quality control, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Crew Leaders and field staff
  • Foster a positive team environment focused on safety, quality, and accountability
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and recognize strong performance
  • Assist with training and developing future leaders

Operations & Project Management

  • Ensure morning rollout proceeds safely and smoothly
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality, productivity, and adherence to scope
  • Monitor job budgets and production to ensure projects and accounts stay on track
  • Provide direct assistance with production should the need arise

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Proactively communicate updates to schedule with Account Managers and crews
  • Ensure all materials, equipment, and resources are prepared in advance

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain a safe work environment and enforce all safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct Tailgate Talks and safety/vehicle inspections
  • Issue and ensure proper use of PPE
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality results that meet or exceed client and company expectations

Client & Internal Communication

  • Communicate daily with customers, team members, and internal staff
  • Respond promptly to emails, calls, and messages
  • Address and resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner


Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years of management experience in landscaping
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to speak Spanish and English proficiently
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Proficiency with computers and CRM systems (LMN, Aspire, etc.)
  • Valid drivers license with a safe driving record
  • Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) required to effectively communicate safety protocols and manage field crews.
