Job description

J.R. Boehlke, Inc. is a full-service asphalt, concrete, landscape, and snow contractor founded in 1996. The company works closely with property owners and managers to preserve the quality, safety, and appearance of commercial and residential properties throughout Southeast Wisconsin. 
 
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong sales focus to join our team and drive growth in our commercial asphalt and concrete operations. The right individual for this role will combine strong sales and account management skills, project management expertise, and deep knowledge of asphalt and concrete projects and estimating to help drive revenue growth and project profitability.
 
Job Responsibilities
 
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
·       Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including cultivating relationships with existing and potential commercial clients.
  • Developing proposals and estimates. 
  • Communicating project solutions effectively to clients, addressing their needs and showcasing our value proposition. 
  • Following up on leads and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
  • Planning and overseeing asphalt and concrete projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. 
  • Coordinating with our Operations Manager, field crews, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution. 
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns during the project lifecycle. 
 
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales and project management, ideally within the asphalt and concrete industry.
  • Strong understanding of asphalt and concrete project scopes, timelines, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Detail-orientated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of local market trends and key commercial clients in Southeast Wisconsin.
