Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Asphalt Paver Operators for projects located in the Victorville, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $35+/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Asphalt Paver Operator and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Operate a LeeBoy 7000C asphalt paver to complete commercial paving operations safely and efficiently
  • Lead and direct the paving crew during asphalt placement, maintaining proper grade, joint alignment, and paving quality
  • Perform equipment inspections, monitor paving operations, and assist with setup, adjustments, and daily maintenance as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Journeyman-level asphalt paving experience
  • Proven experience operating a LeeBoy 7000C (or closely related LeeBoy paving equipment)
  • Strong knowledge of asphalt placement, paving techniques, and crew coordination
  • Ability to read grades and ensure high-quality paving results
  • All PPE
