Job description

BRW Contracting, Inc. is a full-service site development company based in Land O’ Lakes, Central Florida. With over 20 years of experience, we specialize in land clearing and grading, underground utilities, concrete, and asphalt. We are committed to safety, teamwork, and long-term career opportunities.

We are currently seeking an experienced Paving Machine Screw Man to join our asphalt division.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with setting and controlling the screed on asphalt paving machines
  • Help maintain proper grade, slope, and mat thickness during paving operations
  • Work closely with the paving operator and crew to ensure smooth and consistent asphalt placement
  • Perform daily equipment checks and assist with basic maintenance
  • Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures
  • Support the crew with additional paving duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with asphalt paving crews required
  • Knowledge of paving operations, grade control, and screed adjustments
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and good attendance
  • Some Saturdays are required. Saturday work is mandatory when scheduled.
