Asphaltech Pavement Solutions is hiring a full-time Asphalt Foreman in Salem County, NJ to lead field crews and help deliver high-quality paving and asphalt maintenance projects throughout South Jersey. This role is ideal for an experienced asphalt professional who can manage crews, coordinate equipment, maintain safety standards, and keep projects moving efficiently from start to finish.

About the Role

As an Asphalt Foreman, you will oversee day-to-day field operations, direct crew members, communicate expectations clearly, and help ensure each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. You will play a key leadership role on active job sites and serve as the link between field production, equipment use, safety practices, and overall crew performance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise asphalt crews on active jobsites in and around the assigned service area
  • Coordinate daily work plans, crew assignments, and jobsite workflow
  • Monitor equipment use, basic maintenance awareness, and safe operation procedures
  • Read and interpret construction plans and communicate scope to the crew
  • Enforce company safety standards and OSHA-conscious jobsite practices
  • Maintain quality control for paving, repairs, and related asphalt work
  • Communicate with managers, crew members, and project stakeholders as needed
  • Help keep projects on schedule and support productive field operations
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in asphalt operations
  • Prior supervisory or crew leadership experience
  • Knowledge of asphalt equipment operation and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
